According to data released by China Customs, China's exports of welded steel pipes totaled 387,899 tons in May, rising by 2% from a month ago and increasing by 10% year on year.
Meanwhile, the figure hit the highest level of this year.
Among them, 186,036 tons were welded pipes for oil and gas transportation and 197,417 tons were standard or commercial quality welded pipes.
In the first five months of this year, the country's exports of welded steel pipes totaled 1.62 million tons, up by 5% year on year.
